Book of the Month: Tommyland by Tommy Lee with Anthony Bozza

Tuesday, September 1, 2015

Books don't always have to be deep and thought provoking. Sometimes it's great to pick up a book with the intention of getting caught up in something fun and easy. Tommy Lee, the sexy and maniacle drummer for Motley Crue, tells parts of his story in these pages. He drew me in right away because he comes off as a hyper adolescent who is quite genuine. It doesn't hurt that he's covered in tattoos and performs with minimal clothes on either.

If fact, after reading Tommyland, I went to see a Motley Crue concert. The book was leaps and bounds better. Sorry Crue fans but it was thoroughly underwhelming. Maybe being a fan of 80's hair rock helps?
If you are looking a light biography, pick up TommyLand and get lost for a few hours.
Any recommendations for biographies that we MUST read?

  1. I read this book a few years ago and really liked it. Yes. It does help to be a "hair-band" fan. lol Autobiographies are my favorite genre of books. Right now I'm reading "Life" by Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones. It's really good too. :)

    1. I will put Life on my reading list; I love reading biographies as well, even tho all of the admin’s here will read pretty much any genre.

      Thank you for reading
