Music of the Month: Arctic Monkeys

Arctic Monkeys have been in my music library for a few years now. I originally bought the album in preparation for a modern rock music festival that rolls through our city. I like to be prepared by listening to as many bands as possible before hand as concerts seem better the more songs you know. And it's a great way to discover a new obsession. An obsession like AM.

AM was released in 2013 and it's basically amazing. Snap Out of It was the first song on the album to catch my attention because it is upbeat and fun in contrast to the bulk of the other songs. Do I Wanna Know is easily my favourite because the lyrics speak to me. Cheesy but true. 

Another reason to love this band? This HILARIOUS cover called Love Machine. I was running on the treadmill at the gym when this song started blasting through my head phones and then I laughed . . . out loud . . . by myself . . . for at least half the song.

Never saw them live (as I wasn't able to see them at the fore-mentioned festival) and would love to know what kind of show they put on if any of you have seen them! Would it be worth travelling to see them or should I wait for them to come back?
