How was your New Years? How did you ring in 2016? I spent the night eating my weight in seafood and drinking considerable amount of wine while playing cards against humanity. New year means a great time to reconsider things and make some resolutions.
- Read more. I used to read all the time, than over last couple of years I slowed down, in last few months of 2015 I barely read at all. I committed to reading 15 books, you can join me in my challenge on Goodreads.
- Do more yoga. I got into Bikram yoga few years back and absolutely loved it. It was the only was I could effectively shut my mind completely. Over time I tried different styles of yoga and ended at Moksha, which is my favourite. 2016 will definitely include more yoga.
- De-clutter. I mean this literally and figuratively speaking; from things I own, to mental things like being horrible and hard on myself.
- Focus on the blog. June 2015 signified the official start of Letters to LA LA land as a life and style blog vs. Nermisa's adventures. 2016 will mean regular posting schedule, new content and new collaborations.
- Spend more time outside. Living in Canada, this will be challenging as winter lasts for like ever, fine, five months, but to a person who is cold all the time winter seems to last forever. However, spending fifteen twenty minutes a day outside is the goal.
