When do you read the most? I set a goal of how many books I like to read for the year and usually read a lot more in summer and winter. So today Amy, Zahra and I are sharing the favorite books we ready this summer:
Nermisa:
I read nine books this summer, and The Good Girl stands out as my favorite. I couldn't put it down. The Good Girl is a character driven story and the main characters are very well developed. I enjoyed the plot and the switching of chapters from different characters point of views, which kept me interested. I would add though that if you are looking for a big dose of action or relentless suspense (or for it to be similar to Gone Girl), this is not the book for you.
Zahra:
Winter Garden byKristin Hannah
This is one of those books that reminds me how much I truly love historical fiction! Winter Garden is a mesmerizing and enchanting novel about survival, enduring love, family, and the choices that can forever haunt you.
Amy:
I thought this book was very good, suspenseful, and a real page-turner. This is a thriller and the best part is that no one can be trusted, including the three female narrators who share the storytelling of this book.
What is the best thing you read this summer?
