We are continuing of European theme, and as we get closer to our trip I get more and more excited. Of course I did my research and here are the top 5 things I am doing in Cinque Terre.
Go For a Hike- There are a lot of hiking trails but the most highly rate is the hike from Monterossa to Vernazza however this hike is 2 hours so. If you are looking for something shorter and less intense, you are on vacation after all, check out Santuario di Montenero (Montenero Sanctuary), it's a 45 minute hike.
Boat Tour- Prices vary depending on which type of tour and how long you want to tour for. I plan to check out the sunset boat tour, it sounds and looks amazing.
Go to the Beach- Many of the beaches if not all, are very rocky but the water is beautiful and clean. The views are amazing and worth the walk down to the marina. I plan to go to at least one beach, most likely Riomaggiore, the beach is just south of the Marina.
Enjoy the Food- The one thing I remember about my last time visiting Cinque Terre was the food. I will not lie this was one of the major reasons Cinque Terre ended up on our itinerary. I love, love, love seafood so Cinque Terre is heaven for me. Check out any of the restaurants you will not be disappointed.
Shopping- I know, I know how on earth did shopping make it on my list. I know things can be expensive when travelling but there are so many cool local shops. If you don't want to spend money even window shopping is fun, you can check out all the unique things in the shops. If you love truffles, balsamic vinegar, olive oil or wine you should pick some up. It's worth it.
