With all the new Christmas movies out I still prefer the classics. Watching those movies really get me into the holiday spirit. Here are my top 5 favourites that I watch every year.

| source Home Alone 1 & 2- Okay I know this is technically two movies but you have to watch both. It is a requirement for Christmas, it's just not the same without it.  Love Actually- I think I would be on everyone's shit list if this movie did not make my list. It is a very cute movie and the scene with Keira Knightly and Andrew Lincoln (who knew that was his name?) with the reading the cards so he could profess his love of his best friends girl, pure magic. It's cuter than it sounds, just watch it!  The Grinch- I have to have this on the list, there are so many versions of this movie. My favourite is Jim Carrey in How The Grinch Stole Christmas. However, speaking of there is a new Grinch movie out and I haven't seen it but I will be checking it out. Who knows maybe I will like Benedict Cumberbatch as the Grinch better doubtful but you never know. It's in theatres now so check out.  Die Hard 1& 2- Okay so this one will for sure be controversial but DIE HARD 1&2 are Christmas Movies! They are! Watch them again and you will see they are Christmas movies. Also I know I cheated again and put two movies but again you have to watch both because they are both great.  National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation- Okay so i'm not sure if this will shock you or not but the first time I saw this movie was last Christmas because my husband insisted. I'm glad he did I love this movie it's sooooo good. So many epic moments. Watch it you will see!  What movies do you watch year after year at Christmas time?
