Winter is so hard on my skin and face. I have been on a hunt to find best products that will make an impact in short amount of time. While not everything that I have tried has worked but here are three products that I have seen fast results with.
Winter reeks havoc on my skin and lips, so
when I found this scrub I fell in love. Not only do my lips feel soft and aren’t
cracking, but exfoliating your lips before putting on your lipstick will help
it stay on longer too! Its made with
real sugar and a special butter blend, which works like magic to gently scrub away
flaky, chapped lips and revel a sweet and smoother finish, and it smells so
good too.
Before this product I have tried couple of
drug store brand mists and didn’t notice much difference. Since winter is mean
and my face tends to be drier during than normal, I gave it a shot. I have used
this now for about a week, and spray it on in the morning before putting on make
up, and that couple times during my work day. My skin feels soft and its not as
dry, I have also noticed by using it during the day (even over make up) my t-zone
is less oily too. It does have a small floral fragrance once first sprayed, but
that goes away shortly after and has not bothered my (sensitive) skin.
If I am being honest, I have never heard of
Devacurl before Tristan asked for it as Christmas Gift but I had to see what
the fuss is all about. Even though, I do no have curly hair, this mask is
freaking bomb.com. My hair feels so soft and its shinny, to a point that people
are commenting on it. This product is so moisturizing and it doesn’t weigh down
my hair. Totally worth the $30+ price tag. (Also, Canadian friends, it is totally sold at Sephora).
I must have tried a dozen different body
creams and finally broke and bough the bum bum cream. This cream not only
moisturizers well and smell incredible, it absorbs super fast into the skin and
doesn't leave that nasty sticky residue. My skin legs feel soft, smooth and
firmer, I would totally say its worth the price!!!
How are you combating dry skin this winter?
