Holiday season is just around the corner and we all want
to have some good wine in rotation. Whether its to bring to a dinner party,
your office part or you know, or to have just in case its Friday and some wine
needs to be rescued – I have rounded 4 of my go to favorite wines that have
been a hit with my friends and family.
TENUTA DI CORTE GIACOBBE - PINOT GRIGIO
RAMATO
We found this wine while at dinner at Cafe Amore and it
was such a big hit (I think we ended up sharing 2 bottles for 4 people over
dinner). I love the smell, its kind of peachy and maybe a tad floral. The wine is smooth and silky, and full bodied.
Bodacious Smooth Red Wine
This is an easy drink; it is sweet and smooth and I don't find it very heavy; plus for a wine at this price its is fantastic!
I find it light, the flavors are very well balanced and blend
together well and I think its a a good starter wine. It also comes in as a boxed wine.
Screw It! Pinot Grigio
I love this wine because its refreshing and fruity,
lavish and luxurious, Screw it! The White is an alluring combination of bright
fruits and satiny textures.
BANFI Brunello di Montalcino
This wine is a little more intense and fragment but
smooth and delicious. Its on the higher
end price wise but great for special occasions. I like the 2014 year because its reminds me of berries and its silky smooth not overpowering wine.
I am not a big drinker and prefer sweet
wines to a drier wine, and I also like reds that are full bodied. What is your go
