There are new horror and scary movies out there but the classics are a must see.
The Shining- family heads to an isolated hotel for the winter where a sinister presence influences the father into violence, while his psychic son sees horrific forebodings from both past and future.
Hocus Pocus- A curious youngster moves to Salem, where he struggles to fit in before awakening a trio of diabolical witches that were executed in the 17th century. Just like watching Home Alone at Christmas you have to watch Hocus Pocus.
Halloween H20: 20 Years Later- Laurie strode, now the dean of a Northern California private school with an assumed name, must battle the Shape one last time, as the life of her own son hangs in the balance.
Practical Magic- Two witch sisters, raised by their eccentric aunts in a small town, face closed-minded prejudice and a curse which threatens to prevent them ever finding lasting love. I love this movie, I watch it every year.
A Nightmare on Elm Street- The monstrous spirit of a slain child murderer seeks revenge by invading the dreams of teenagers whose parents were responsible for his untimely death.
What are you watching this Halloween? What are your traditions?
