I love crepes, my cousin Almira and I have spend multiple nights in search of palacinke while on vacation and its our favourite treat. So i though why not turn it into a cake, the latest craze aka crepe cake. Its super easy to make and its absolutely delicious is beautiful and delicious! All you need is 315 crepes and 15 layers of cream or nutella or whatever in between.
Here is what you need:
1/2 cup warm water
1 cup milk
4 large eggs
4 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted, plus more to sauté
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
pinch of salt
Nutella for layers (you can fold nuteal in with whipped cream) and fruits
How to make it:
In the bowl add the crepe ingredients and mix. You can use a mixer but I usually just whisk it until well combined, scraping down the sides with a spatula if needed.
Heat a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Add 1/2 cup of mix, swirling the skillet as you add the batter to evenly coat the bottom of the pan, cook for about 30 seconds per side or until lightly golden then flip using a thin edged spatula (or flip if you wanna be fancy), cook other side for 30 seconds.
Remove to a clean surface such as a cutting board and allow the layers to cool to room temperature before stacking them. Repeat 15 times.
Lawyer nutella, server and enjoy.
