My brother made these wings on a whim and we have had them at least once a week since. They are delicious and always a hit. I think he used this recipe and modified it accordingly.
What you will need:
Chicken wings party style wings cut into sections
1 cup all purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
oil for frying
1/2 cup salted butter
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
1 lemon (for lemon juice)
2-3 teaspoons Honey
How to make it:
Place the flour in a large bowl and season with the salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
Place the chicken wings in the bowl; gently toss to coat with flour mixture.
Heat 4 inches of oil in a large pot to 350 degrees F.
Add the chicken wings to the pot in batches of about 6-8 wings.
Fry for 10-12 minutes or until wings are deep golden brown and cooked through.
Repeat with remaining wings.
In a sauce pan, melt some butter, add honey, lemon juice and lemon pepper seasoning.
Toss the fried wings in the butter mixture. (you might need to make more mixture depending how many wings you make)
Garnish with lemon wedges and parsley sprigs if desired.
