Creating a Sunday night routine is a great way to set yourself up for success in the week ahead.
Take some time to reflect on the week past and plan for the week ahead.
Write down three things that went well last week - you can use a journal or notes app on your phone. Make sure you have a clear idea of the tasks that need to get done and the goals you would like to accomplish. It can be helpful to write down a to-do list and prioritize the tasks in order of importance.
Take some time to make nutritious meals to fuel your days.
Weather you meal plan, or just make a menu and grocery shop so you are ready for the week ahead is gonna be a game changer. I don't meal prep, but I do a menu for the week using this chart and jot down ideas for the week. This helps me shop more efferently plus I don't have to spend a lot of time worrying about it for the week.
Do a 30 min house cleaning.
Weather its put clothes away, clean your kitchen, fold laundry - do 30 minutes of house chores. You would be amazed how much difference clean house makes. Sure 30 minutes is probably not enough to get the whole house clean but it makes a difference.
Finally, make sure to end the night on a positive note and get a good night of rest. Read before bed, listen to music, meditade, cuddle with your loved one, have a long bath with lots of bubbles - do one small thing that makes you happy before bed.
A Sunday night routine will equip you with the tools you need to start the week energized, organized, and ready to make it a great one.
